The Club needs your help! In addition to helping out with Work Parties, we're always looking for help from volunteers to help make the Club run better and be even more fun. We'll even make it easy:
a. Come to a Board meeting and tell your leadership what you can do or contribute,
b. Contact a Committee Chair and let them know you'd like to be on the team,
c. Send an email or use the "Contact Us" page on this web site.
The Grounds Committee organizes repairs, maintenance and groundskeeping for the property, clubhouse, and all of the other facility on land -- everything from the gate to the water's edge. In 2016 Grounds plans to develop a list of priority projects for this year and next, and submit budget requests to the Board to help make them happen. Chair: ______
The Docks Committee organizes repairs and maintenance for our docks and marina, and makes recommendations to the Board for upgrade of our access to the water. For 2016 Docks has scheduled two special work parties: May 21st and June 18th. Volunteer in advance for one or both of those work parties, so that they can organize tools and materials to get as much done as possible. Contact Chair Gary Reiswig at
The Rules Committee makes recommendations to the Board for updates and revisions to our Rules and Bylaws. Responsible for everything from spelling to keeping up with changes in law, this Committee has planned to work in 2016 to make our Rules more friendly and easier to read, and to conform the Bylaws for a 2017 vote. Note that changes in Rules are voted upon by the Board of Trustees, while Bylaws revisions require a vote of the entire Membership. To help out, contact Chair Neil Skogland: [email protected]
